So we’re into growth? Let’s talk about the easiest way for a human to grow. Weight gain.
I’m serious. As a woman I can simply look at a baked good and gain 2LBS. It’s written into the fabric of my DNA. Does this body come with an opt-out feature? Is it too much to ask to hit my my ideal weight of 148LBS, wearing clothes?
My fluctuation game is strong:
157.6LBS clothes off, 8am, October 15, 2025.
164.3LBS clothes off, 8pm, October 21, 2025.
163.8LBS half dressed, 7pm, October 27, 2025.
161.8LBS 1 banana, 10:16am, November 10, 2025.
I am starving-all day-all night, and my partner is still trying to pinch the fat off my thighs, and love handles.
Enter where technology can lend a hand to human ambition. When I plug this into an application I use it advises me how many calories to target for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.

For a moment I will have to bore you with the math:
My chosen calorie intake target: 1600,
Average weight: 158-168LBS,
Activity level: Light-weight activity
Gender: Female, Age: 35,
Target weight-loss: 0.4-0.5LBS/week
Notice how my calorie capture is more generous for breakfast and lunch?
Problem? Snacks. What-in the actual snacks-could ever just be 160 cals?
Solution? I usually jog or bike for 20-40 minutes a day. Since that activity only burns a mere 100-200cals, I consider the activities more of a buffer for my many-oops I just grabbed a snack without thinking-moments.
Signed,
Severely out of breath.
