The Secret Recipe

So what’s the secret recipe to weight-loss?

Self control. VOIDING your pantry of delicious items-chocolate or cookies, croissants etc.

If not possible right at this moment, at least settle for cutting the cake into 16ths instead of 8ths like you usually do. Try to test your self control, by keeping your distance from pastries like the ones pictured below for now.

You can look, but you cannot touch.

I see you, I am with you. And I know how challenging self control is. My self control is soft and crumbly like these mouth watering pastries above.

Let me be clear-in my teens and twenties I had a high metabolism, a metabolism always busy running a marathon. I never thought I would be counting calories like this.

But I find myself using Google and ChatGPT as personal assistants to find out how many calories are in everything-that-could-possibly-be-grown-under-the sun when in reality I want to worship whatever ingredients are in my refrigerator equally like the Mayan goddesses they are!

In all seriousness, self control takes planning, and planning is a great tool for living a more balanced life. I aim to keep my fat burn slow and consistent so calorie counting keeps me aware of what I need to make more informed decisions.

I’m currently 16.3LBS over my ideal weight which means it will take me 40 weeks of awareness, discipline and accountability to keep my progress consistent.

Stick with me, we’re going to get there.

Signed,

163.8LBS
