Hello Daryll

Earlier I told you all that my fluctuation game is strong. I am not even out here expecting miracles, just slow and consistent fat-burn. Since today I am not interested in talking about counting calories at all, I will talk about my aloe plant, Daryll.

We’ve had Daryll at home for a few months. Daryll regularly gets his haircut once a week because my partner uses his leaves for a homemade beauty potion. I make band saw noises or karate chop noises. My partner laughs. Daryll shivers in fear.

Aloe as a plant is remarkable because when their limbs are cut they bandage themselves by burning the ends of their own leaves, and grow their own babies, called “pups.”

When one door closes, another one opens.

Just remember if you are stuck living in your own shadow right now, there’s always room for growth. Daryll lives his life facing the sun and knows how to put his shadows where they belong: in the past.

We could all learn a lot from Daryll.

Stick with us,
