Chip On My Shoulder

My next tip is going to be about how to save calories while enjoying chips.

I planned to enjoy 20 instead of the suggested serving of 29, and then watched my partner borrow 5 right in front of my eyes-SIDE EYES EMOJI! I think we all know that this is the kind of borrowing that can’t be returned.

I’m not so good at sharing food but I decided to let it go since the silver lining was she was unofficially saving me from extra calories.

20 chips weigh in at 186 calories, and 2.56 ounces of burger meat is also 186 calories. Which is definitely something to think about.🤯

Health and satisfaction are becoming two different monsters on my shoulder.

Satisfaction convinced me to enjoy the chips, as well as some of yesterday’s chocolates.

Health is on my other shoulder telling me that’s not how slow burn works.

What impact does the satisfaction of chips have on my health when they take up that many calories in my day? And is that impact going to matter if I’m somehow still ahead of my day with a -227 calorie deficit? Only time will tell.
